PHOTOS: Speaking to Danville High Students before Taiwan Trip

Recently, Senator Frerichs met with a group of Danville High School students planning to visit Taiwan about his time living and teaching English to Taiwanese children ages five to fourteen.  Senator Frerichs also talked about his time at the Chinese Military Academy teaching English at a college level.

Senator Frerichs also discussed how being well-versed in international matters has helped him understand the cultures of different populations. He encouraged the students to be open to new experiences, trying new food and offered travel tips.
